 My
husband Davy and I have been going to Calis Beach on holiday
for the past 10 years. In 1999 we decided to book with Dr John
and his family at the Caretta apartments and have been
going there since every year, apart from one when I was
ill. The reason we go back all the time is because Dr John,
his wife Mary and sons Onur and Cem are one of the nicest
kindest families we have ever met and have always made
us feel like family rather than guests. Everybody who goes
to Caretta Apartments are treated in this way. They put
so much effort into making our holiday such a special one
and we are very well looked after. Young and old alike
are treated in the same way by these lovely people. Our
grandson Kyle has been with us on two occasions and he
had a fantastic time.. He was with us two years ago when
he was eighteen and Cem and some of the younger bar staff
were very good to him and took him out with them in the
evenings to try the nightlife in Calis, Kyle had a wonderful
time. Mary is a lovely lady and though a very quiet person
makes you very welcome. Dr John is a very funny man and
he is very nice too. Onur and Cem are very nice young men,
in fact the whole family are lovley, and make your holiday
very special. The resaurant is lovley and the atmosphere
is very relaxing. Dr John offers some great days out at
very reasonable prices and a great time is had by all.
We have had some great days out with the family and other
guests. We have made a lot of friends (Turkish and British
alike) while holidaying in Calis beach. It is a beautiful
place and the sunset is one of the most beautuful sights
I have ever saw. There is plenty to see and do in Calis
and the surrounding area. Fethiye is a lovely little harbour
town and you can get there by the ferry which takes around
20 minutes. It is an excellent little boat trip, or you
can take the little Dolmus which is very cheap. The pool
area at Doctor Johns is beautiful as is the apartments,
We cannot wait to go back again this year and we are taking
our son, his wife and their two children with us. The good
thing about it is that Dr John (or one of his staff can
pick you up from the airport and take you back at the end
of your stay) and his mini bus is very comfortable with
air conditioning. We certainly will be returning year after
year to stay with Dr John and his family.I cannot reccomend
the Caretta Apartments highly enough...

We always feel that we are visiting family
rather than just on holiday. Dr John, Mary, Cem and all the
staff at the Caretta make you feel extremely welcome and
nothing you ask is too much trouble, and if you have any
problems they are always willing to help you sort them out.
The apartments are very clean and well maintained
as are the bar and pool areas, the atmosphere at the Caretta
is very relaxing and you are guaranteed to have a lovely
holiday and this is the reason that many people return year
after year.
