family have never felt so welcome and valued as a guest and
customer on a holiday as we did at Caretta Apart. Visiting
Turkey for the first time can be a daunting prospect because
the language, customs, people and culture are all so unfamiliar.
So it feels like a big risk – particularly when you have
children, or older family members to look after as well as
yourself. Caretta has a great family feel to it and John in
particular puts so much effort into making guests feel welcome
and looked after. Cem is great for teenagers as they can relate
to him easily and he and some others from the bar will go with
the guest teenagers to the clubs in Calis. They think that
is great. Mary brings a calm presence to. But everyone at
Caretta seems to be genuinely interested in making sure that
you have a good holiday. And this is the best thing about Caretta.
Not the accommodation, nearby scenery, food, drink, transport
and entertainment – although they are all wonderful.
It’s the people there, your family and their employees,
who make it something very special. That, I think, is why so
many people return year after year.

My
family has never been to the same place abroad twice, yet alone
three times and are booked already for next year. The warm welcome
we receive from Caretta Apartments is second to none. The owners,
John, Mary, Cem and the dog Cookie!, make you feel totally at
home and will go out of their way to arrange trips for you or
help with anything you need. The apartments are clean and comfortable
and situated only a short walk from the centre of Calis, yet
far enough away as not to be too noisy. There are many excursions
you can choose from, Doctor John, the owner, will help arrange
any trips you would like from historical trips to beach trips
and jeep safaris. But it's wonderful to just sit round the pool
and enjoy the surroundings and hospitality. The best thing about
Caretta is that the atmosphere there makes all the guests feel
like they are part of one big happy family, from toddlers to
teenagers to parents and grandparents. We would thoroughly recommend
it to everyone.

 Firstly
when some has arrived in Turkey for the very first time they
will become not only aware of the climate that Turkey has to
offer but also the friendly people that are instantly about
at the airport. Then if you have arranged for the Caretta to
pick you up, you are greeted by a big smile of Dr John (the
owner) or one of his many genuine helpful staff, that are there
to make your holiday an unforgettable one. You are then taken
to the Caretta where-upon you are greeted by a beautiful
smell of jasmine (from just one of the many plants that are
around the complex) and other members of staff then shown to
your accommodation. This is the beginning of a really
great holiday. The hospitality that is shown is definitely
second to none. All the members of the Caretta are there to
make your holiday an unforgettable one (and it really is).
You will find a wealth of information if
you ask them questions about where the best places to go and
what see, whether they know or not they would find out for
you. You
will find the pool and bar really tastefully done and mostfood
and drinks are available. The Caretta's restaurant is nice and
spacious with a comfortable lounge attached. So all in all the
Caretta has it all including a games area where you can play
pool. Apart from the Caretta being your home for your holiday
period, you will find that there are many places to see in Turkey,
and as you know probably from other holidays, there never seems
to be enough time to see all of it. However Dr John and his staff
are there to help you again, being as there are so many
wonderful places to see, you will find that (if you require)
Dr John will endeavour to arrange for an outing to be got together
to include either (people staying there or friends at other
apartments) to have a full day excursion at a very reasonable
price. The beauty of this is that your day out is with people
you have got to know and of course all speaking English. On these
kind of days out remind you why people come time after time back
to Dr Johns, because you are made to feel part of a family and
not just a number, and I don't know about you but that was great
for me and my family. So that's really all I can say about your
accommodation. As for the rest of your holiday, well that is
just a bonus. I wish anyone who has a holiday at the Caretta
joy, fun, laughter and relaxation as we did.
